To celebrate the sesquicentennial of the founding of Mooresville, Indiana, in 1974, Bonita C. Marley, librarian and director of Mooresville Public Library (1961-1984), designed a town banner especially for the occasion. We have reproduced it below in one of our "treasure trove" flashcards. Right-click it and select the "full screen" viewing option if it appears partially obscured by the sidebar on the right.

The library has the original flag on permanent display outside its Indiana Room. Stop by and take a gander.
