Learn more about Mooresville's Amos Rusie, "the Hoosier Thunderbolt," who set many major league baseball records pitching during the 1890s for the New York Giants.  (He also played for the Cincinnati Reds and the Indianapolis Hoosiers, when Indianapolis had a major league franchise.)  Rusie's fastball was the fastest of the day.  Our program features baseball writer Pete Cava, who will talk about Rusie, a Hall of Famer, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the library community room.
