We even have our puppet feline roving reporter, Cauliette, who is standing-in for our real, live feline roving reporter, Cauli Le Chat.  Cauliette, who was hand-made by MPL Business Manager Sharon Hicks, comes complete with an authentic reporter's hat.

Purple Dress was worn at the wedding

of Shirley's parents, Willard Flowers & Eleanor Flowers (November 5, 1937)

Dress fabric was originally blue (to match hat) but has turned purple with age

(Still in style during the early 1940s but with a shorter hemline)
